See if Your Community Has an Election & Learn What’s on the Ballot 

The August 8th Michigan primary elections will decide who will serve as a clerk or become a city council member or whether your local school will get funding. Here’s what you can do to learn whether elections are being held in your community and what’s on the ballot:

  1. See if your community has an election by clicking HERE to see a list of elections by county provided by the Michigan League of Women Voters.
  2. If your community has an election, learn what’s (or who’s) on the ballot by going to your local city website or by clicking HERE to a link to the Voter Information Center on the MichiganSecretary of State website.
  3. If you are not registered to vote and want to vote on August 8th, you can still register at your city clerk’s office.
